When and how should I take Dr. Babinet's Prime Formula?

The Prime Formula can be taken at any time of the day and can be taken on an empty stomach or with food. Some people report that they prefer taking it with food and find it easier to digest this way.

Can I expect to feel better after taking the Prime Formula?

The Prime Formula is not designed to treat any specific condition.  It uses small amounts of nutrients and herbs synergistically.  This combination enhances the physiological functions and the ability of the body to deal with common environmental stressors.  While some people report immediate experiences of well-being and increased energy, others who have previously followed nutritional supplement regiments may take longer to register the more subtle transformation brought about by the Prime Formula.  For some people this may take as long as two to three months.

Is the Prime Formula appropriate for woman who are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or lactating?

I would not recommend the Prime formula in any of these situations.  Several of the herbs are documented as being contrary to that purpose.  If you have been taking the Prime Formula and discover that your are pregnant, do not be overly concerned. The amounts we use in the formula are very small and unlikely to cause serious consequences.

Is there an advantage to taking more than one daily pack of the Prime Formula in one day?

Many people who are physically very active or who have a stressful lifestyle report that they feel better when they take two packs per day.  I frequently take two daily packs myself, especially when I am traveling. The specific amounts of nutrients in the formula have been calculated so that they can easily be doubled without presenting any health risks.

Could I have an adverse reaction to the Prime Formula?

The formula has powerful anti-microbial, anti-fungal and detoxifying properties.  A healing crisis is always possible.   A healing crisis could include any of the following: skin eruptions, nausea, diarrhea, cramping, bad breath, foul body odor or muscle aches. The best way to handle it would be to stop taking the Prime Formula for 4 or 5 days and then ease back into taking one daily packet every 3 days.  If the reaction does not reoccur, increase to 2 days.  If it is still fine, go back to taking it on a daily basis.

Could I be allergic to the Prime Formula?

Allergies are specific to individuals and there could be a nutrient or an herb in the formula that your body does not tolerate well.  If you are having a mild reaction and you want to identify which pill is the cause, stop taking the Prime Formula for a few days and then re- introduce one pill at a time. The yellow tablets are the minerals and vitamins, the black capsule is the essential fatty acids, the white capsule is the probiotic and the four remaining capsules are the herbs.  For people who do not tolerate the vitamins or who prefer a strictly vegetarian formula, the herbal combination found in the Prime Formula is offered separately under the name of True Synergy.

Is there any counter indication in taking the Prime Formula in combination with medication?

The traditional view is that vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and probiotics in the amount specific to the Prime Formula are safe with any medication.  Some of the herbs in high dosage could enhance or interfere with certain prescriptions.  The herbs in large quantity might have effects that enhance or interfere with your prescription.  For this reason all the herbs and their amounts are included on our website so that you can check with your medical practitioner if the Prime Formula would be appropriate for your use.

Should I be concerned about taking the supplement if I am having an operation?

All supplements should be stopped for a minimum of 5 days before surgery and until tissue healing has been achieved.  In most cases this is 4 to 5 days post surgery.  After this time the Prime  Formula would assist in the healing process.
